I followed my girlfriend and her friends on a night out on the town in Boise, Idaho and photographed them as though they were models. People were really interested as to why this random group of people was walking around with a camera guy photographing them. The girls joked that people maybe thought they were influencers. It was actually quite difficult to shoot pictures like this. Almost none of these images were staged and the shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and focus had to be changed on the fly very quickly. The fact that I got such good photographs, and believe me i’ve only posted the best ones, is really cool to me. It made me feel very professional.
